Happy Friday, love. We made it. The skies are sunny and clear for the moment. I predict thunder by lunchtime, and rain by mid-afternoon.

Mal‘s appointment with the vet went fine. She said he’s perfectly healthy and everything about him looks just fine. We talked about me getting the cats drugs and paperworkfor the trip north. Once we know for certain how the cats will be making the trip, I’ll give the office a call and they’ll hook me up with what I need for them.

I fit some spin time in during the afternoon. I moved out of my sand pit. The fire ants made a mound dead center of it, and I haven’t had a chance to poison it yet. I spent an hour or two painting on the patio again. Nothing I did, during either activity, is worth posting. However, I can say that a bliss-filled vape and an Asaf Avidan playlist is a wonderful way to spend an afternoon.

We took Brian’s mom out for dinner last night, which meant we took the entire crew out for dinner last night. She wanted Chinese, so buffet night was switched. We spent an extra half hour with Dumkle because we drove him to the place. Drunkle was on his best behavior and survived two hours of being conscious without a beer in his hand. I ate a lot of sushi again.

I expect more of the same today.

  1. I’ll have to check out the Chinese food place in SlightlyBiggerTown to see if they can make good fried rice. It’s a buffet, so I’m kinda leary about going in by myself.
