It’s a new week, and we’re starting things off with thunderstorms. According to the forecast, we can expect more of the same through the rest of the week. This is exactly why mom insisted on an extra load of washing yesterday.
I finished Piers Anthony’s “A Spell for Chameleon” yesterday. It’s the first book in his Xanth series. I enjoyed it, but I’m not sure if I enjoyed it enough to get through the 42 other books in the series. Since the weather is supposed to suck so much this week, I’ll have plenty of reading time.
I’ve also got a few more book wreaths to work on. In a few weeks, we’ll be driving to see my godparents for a Memorial Day weekend. They have a shop where shit like that will sell. Since I plan to leave here sometime in the month or two after we get back, I’m hoping to
- eliminate the books I’m using
- use up the 5 lb box of glue sticks
- maybe make some money with them
I’m certainly not bringing any of it with me.
Aaaaaand, on the topic of books, I sent a copy of “P is for Pterodactyl” to my nephew. My sister wasn’t amused.
I’m between the rain this week, I plan to go through the truck and find stuff to mail up to Shawshank. I have several boxes of Warhammer stuff to send up. Honestly, I don’t even know what I have in the truck anymore.
Oh well. It is what it is.
