Happy morning, y’all. It’s Wednesday, it’s snowing, there’s coffee and wars and shit happening. It’s been a morning; Podrick being Podrick had me awake early. Then he woke up Shawshank, and then he climbed the window screen. We tried to sleep.
With the day off, yesterday was a nice day. Most of the weekly putterings had been handled on Monday, so we had yesterday to be pretty lazy. Shawshank played “Burnout” for a bit, and I watched him play. It’s nice to sit and watch someone else drive a round for a change. Most of the time, you’re driving so quickly you can’t actually look at the scenery. He’s getting the feel for the cars and the way they handle, and even beat one of the one time trials before he logged out. I drove around exploring when it was my turn, and tried some of the activities. I think I succeeded about half of what I attempted, got one or two new cars, and upgraded my license.
Alas, our “weekend” is over, and we’ll both be back to work today. It’s snowing right now, and I’ll have some lovely light if it keeps like this for the rest of the day. I might even put up the curtain again.
