Monday morning, it was all I hoped it would be.

Another Monday has rolled around and dropped itself into our laps. Oh joy. We’re expecting thunderstorms and high winds all day. I’m expecting a lot of anxiety over the wind; our house behaves weirdly in the wind. Additionally, the front door almost blew off in the last windstorm, so there’s that to worry about as well.

It’s my early shift Monday. I’m working with BossRPh, and DayTech is in around lunchtime. Between the plague and the shitty weather, I don’t anticipate we’ll be all that busy in the pharmacy.

Hopefully, we’ll actually receive some of the PPE they’ve been promising us. Supposedly, we were getting masks last Friday. Masks are to be kept under lock and key in the office, we get three each week, and there’s a sign in/sign out log for them. Plexiglass is “on its way”, and is going to the areas where there’s higher risk. Unfortunately, from what I’ve been reading online, a lot of the barriers are not very well made, and break really easily.

As far as we know, we’ve got two confirmed cases of Covid in our regular patients. I talked with one last week, he said he’s ok, but it’s kicking his ass. The other one of them hadn’t been in the store in months, but her son was her caretaker and came in at least once a week. She died last week.
