The coffee is coming. I let us sleep in an extra few minutes because I was watching a TikTok about the difference between makeup influencers and pro makeup artists and why the two groups can’t get along. The tea was hot, but forgettable.
The two of us devoted totally normal amounts of time to Echoes of Wisdom yesterday. When I played on Thursday night, I went in one direction. Shawshank played for a while yesterday morning, and he went in the opposite direction. I spent much of the last night playing as well. I finished one temple, and started working on some quests in another area. For the most part, I’m exploring, which is my favorite thing to do in any game.
My only complaints so far boil down to the game’s linearity and graphics, and both are really minor. I really disliked the running around between checkpoints during the Zora quest. As for the graphics, I love the graphics, but the complaints about dropping fps are valid and noticeable after *mumbles incoherently* hours of gameplay. I feel like the hiccups happen more when you’re traversing the screen vertically as the game tries to take the blur off objects. It’s not all the time, not even close. For me to notice it happening, it’s definitely got to be a thing. On the other hand, I’m not a competitive Zelda speedrunner, so the point is moot.
We’re being slugs today. We don’t need to be anywhere, and we went shopping last week.
