Hello, world. Happy Tuesday. I’m up, and I’m typing, drinking my coffee and chatting with people. I dozed on and off all morning. I would absolutely love to sleep for a solid eight hours. Like black lights, I guess getting a solid sleep really isn’t a thing anymore.1
Yesterday was a gloriously sloth-y day. Shawshank played Breath of The Wild for most of the morning, before he handed the controller off to me and started making brunch. I put a bra on, but only because his mother was coming over to drop off some pants she made me. I played some Breath of The Wild, but eventually became frustrated with what I was trying to accomplish and loaded up Hades instead. Sometimes, I just want to mash buttons.
The pants are adorable. Two weeks ago, I was upset because my favorite pants are wicked expensive to order from a Canadian site, and Amazon will only ship the medium size – not my size, of course – internationally. Shawshank found a couple of free patterns and printed them out for his mother, asking if she could find it in her heart to take a break from her quilting and make me another pair of genie pants. After a bit of back and forth about patterns and fabrics, I have some gloriously garish floral pants. We’re tweaking the pattern she used, because it’s super simple. I could even make them on my own.2
Today has that look. It’s windy and darkish. The sky is overcast and it’s not that “oh it’s just a little cloudy” sky. This is straight up “you’re gonna get snow” cloud cover. I don’t think we’re supposed to get more than some flurries today, if anything. However, if the reports are correct, we can expect to see some accumulation tomorrow and Thursday. I’m going to take on the human form, do the human things, and generate some new 🔥content🔥. I’ll probably fire up TikTok and go live later in the afternoon.
We’ll have good days, I think.
