As you can see, there’s been more painting. The other night, he told me he had to stop for the night because he had a headache.

“I’m holding my breath when I’m doing the fine lines,” he said.

Last night, he did the eyes and base. This morning, it was “I don’t know if they make it, but I need something like a desk light that clips to the table, with a combo of a light and a magnifying glass.” He’s had me painting every night since Sunday, and I’ve been having painting-related dreams.

Tuesday’s shift wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be. The first half of the shift was StressedRPh, and was pretty slow. Fill-in Fourteen was supposed to come in at 2pm, but called at lunchtime to say he’d be late because his grandfather had literally just died, and he had a couple of things to do before he could get in. The rest of the day went ok, until about 3 pm. At that point, the gates of hell opened up and released all the high maintenance, bullshit patients.

I can’t wait for the weekend to get here.

Wow, if that’s the figure he’s been working on, that’s pretty damn good. I wish I had the patience for that stuff.

Sounds like the pharmacy is as bad as our support desk, it’s feast or famine most the time. Hell is either breaking loose or nothing much is going on, of late.

Honestly, I’m surprised he’s got the patience for it. I expected nothing but frustration when it came to the fine lines, or for him to ask me to do them. He’s talking about bringing it back to the shop to show it off.
