Happy damned Saturday, loves. TinyTown‘s quiet and cold, and the covfefe is warm and caffeinating. The cats are doing cat things. Pippin is in a lap, and Chaucer is scarfing down all his food while we watch and wait for the inevitable ejection. There’s a lot of ice fog out there today, so everything is glittery and looking like a borax crystal science experiment.
I got my first suspension on the NSFW Twitter yesterday. I changed my profile banner in the morning and it was flagged as inappropriate. It toed the line, but wasn’t nude, and the whole thing soured my mood a bit for the rest of the afternoon.
I’m just starting to get some followers that aren’t bots, but it took me a month to get to that point. When I changed it back to what it was two hours earlier, that was flagged as inappropriate. I set up a second account after filing an appeal to have the first one reactivated. When I tried to log into that one for the first time, I was almost immediately locked out until I verified myself. Just when I got the backup account running, the appeal went through and the first pile of filth was reactivated.
In non-smut news, we’ve had regular nocturnal visits from some of the local deer population lately.
I haven’t seen them in town, mostly out in the grass. We see their tracks pretty regularly on the walkway and sometimes in the yard. Last night, a pair of them were snacking on the neighbors decorative grasses. He whisper-shouted at me to come to the door with my camera right now. I knew it was serious because he used my full name.
We’re going out today, making the drive into the next town over for some food for us and the cats. And paints. But mostly food. Tonight we’re going to stay up late, which means I’m going to take a nap.
