Good morning, world. Another morning, another day I walk the Earth uncontained. I’m warm. This isn’t right, and I’m really hoping it’s not a warning of something more in store for me. It started last night after I finished my shower. We’re still in the deep freeze up here, so I know deep in my heart it’s not the weather causing it.
I wasted most of my time playing Divinity: Original Sin 2 yesterday afternoon. When I’d last played, I had just entered the last map, and opened up a small area. Unfortunately, the area is slightly more powerful than I am, and I spent much of my playing time getting my ass handed to me. After destroying me for the Xth time, I spent 15 minutes making sure my party was outfitted in the best gear I had. Surprise, none of them were adequately prepared. Once the four of them were sporting spiffy new outfits, things went somewhat better. After I adopted a new tactic – I like to call it WE HIDIN’ Y’ALL! – we finally won the fight; however, it still took 30+ minutes to do so.
Shawshank works the mid shift today. The alarm was set a little earlier than the “normal” time, but I got up with him. It’s only 30 minutes earlier, and I’m usually awake anyway. The Hot Mess Express protested this morning, so he plans to take it out for a little drive after his shift. I’m going to work, I have things to upload and schedule.
