It’s sunny again. I was worried, because it was slightly cloudy last night and I felt like the universe was going to put its energy into pissing me off with more snow. We’re up.
I put most of my energy into scheduling content posts. I’m trying to be better about scheduling and posting all the content. Most of the time, I can get about 80 pics or so out of an afternoon set. I feel like I don’t actually post a lot of it, however. There’s no way to filter my content vault to show only the media I haven’t posted, and all the thumbnails look the same after 20+ posts. After a couple of hours of scheduling stuff, I’d give up for the day. The next time I’d schedule, I’d have to waste time comparing what I want to post to what’s scheduled to avoid duplicates.
The last two months, I’ve been updating the filenames, adding POSTED to pics’ names as I schedule. Yesterday, I added an extra step to the process, moving posted/renamed stuff out of the working directory as I work. Now, I don’t need to hunt for the pics with unchanged filenames.
Shawshank has today off. We’re watching Chaucer, who seems to be very unlike himself this morning. The universe saved its energy for today.
