Happy Sunday, lovely people. I have coffee beside me and a crime drama on TV. Sounds like it’s another Sunday. Shawshank put the first load of laundry in the wash, so I guess we’ve started chore day.
We took off shortly after Shawshank closed up shop yesterday. The roads were pretty clear, and it was a nice day out. Since the shop isn’t open a full day on the weekends, Shawshank doesn’t leave for lunch. Instead, we grabbed some snacks on the way. There wasn’t a lot of actual shopping to do this week, with only a handful of items on the list. I tossed my poi in my bag in an effort to get a picture or video of me spinning in the middle of nowhere.
We spent less time shopping than it took Shawshank to drive us there. On the way home, we stopped for me to spin on a hilltop overlooking a valley. We were lucky enough to be in the right place at the right time, and a trio of whitetail deer bounced by either side of us to cross the road. I braved the snow that came almost to my knees, spun a bit, then moved out into the empty highway. Shawshank told me watch out for cars, and then shot a quick video.
Today, we’re watching some Warhammer videos while the washer goes. Shawshank will make us some brunch, and we’re going to Shady Acres for dinner tonight.
