watching dogs on roombas on the morning TV

Happy Friday, y’all. In case anyone cares, we’ll get it out of the way right off the bat: it’s still cold. Again, we’re a bit warmer than yesterday. Unfortunately, we’re still way below freezing. The Hot Mess was angry, I’m sure.

Yesterday was pretty typical. I did some stuff, and nothing at all. I washed my hair, which felt like an accomplishment, and streamed about an hour worth of spin time. There was poi and leviwand, and I used the funky lights and changed up the filming angle a little. The stream wasn’t busy, but I didn’t expect it to be. No one watches flow artists except other flow artists.

I played Divinity: Original Sin 2 for a bit in the afternoon, and successfully dealt with another major fight. I’ve only just started this map, and had several difficult camps to potentially deal with before I could enter the city. All of yesterday was devoted to a single battle, because the game is fucking insane. Within the open areas of the map, I know where one more major battle is playing out. I might make another attempt on that today. Right now, my main concern is making sure everyone is properly kitted out. Now that I can enter the city, I can actually do some proper party housekeeping.

Shawshank opened this morning, and won’t be home for a few hours. He turned on the little galaxy lamp he gave me for Christmas, so I could wake up to fancy indoor northern lights. I was huddling under the blankets when I felt little footsteps on my arm, and found Pippin looking for pets when I peeked out of my bed fort. She settled down by my feet. Shortly thereafter, Chaucer came up on the bed and formed a catloaf on my thighs. While I never got back to sleep, I enjoyed a morning snuggle from both cats. Today is Date Night, and maybe I’ll get to enjoy a bubble bath.
