Good morning, and welcome to Thursday. Throwback, thong, or even thirsty Thursday, if you’re into that. I’ve been up for a little while, and I’ve got the coffee pot going. It’ll be (mostly) full by the time Shawshank emerges from bed. The sky is overcast today, and probably will remain that way for the rest of the day.
Thankfully, we’re not dealing with the same bullshit as Florida. My mom sent me a screenshot of her morning warnings. She says the weathermen haven’t been on the ball this week, and is hoping today’s forecast is just as full as empty promises.
Not that she’ll ever be near a rip current. The rest of the warnings still stand, however.
Shawshank brought home tape and I assembled and cut out the pattern pieces I asked him to print the prior day. Unfortunately, I don’t have enough of any one particular fabric to make the shirt because I don’t have enough fabric to line it. He also brought me a giant piece of super-sturdy cardboard to make an upgraded template for the pants. I’ll work on that today, but don’t know how much I’ll accomplish. It’s thicker than my blade might be able to safely handle.
After lunch, I created some content. I edited some pics for quick promo stuff on Twitter, but saved most of it to give me something to do while Shawshank played Tears of The Kingdom. I’ll sit down today to upload/schedule a bunch of stuff. I’ll add it to the list of things to do today, like iron and take pics of the pants I want to list for sale.
Hopefully, today will be a good day.
