Greetings, bitches. Yesterday’s sunshine was indeed short-lived, and we finished the day with clouds that have stuck with us. This morning is another gray one. I’ve been up since around 4am, as near as I can estimate. I played with my phone until I became frustrated by the lack of interesting content on Reddit and Bluesky started kicking up feed errors. I switched to a guided meditation, which may or may not have been helpful. The program was an hour, and I think I slept for a little while. Unfortunately, I woke up with 20 minutes left, knowing any more attempts would be frustratingly pointless. I resumed the scrolling, until Chaucer started dry heaving on the bed about 15 minutes before the alarm.
Today is gonna be an absolute joy. I can feel it in my bones.
Yesterday was another productive day. With Spooky Season upon us, I’ve had a couple of Ideas for appropriately themed spicy photo sets. First and cheapest was the traditional “sheet ghost” idea. Sadly, the sheet wasn’t full size. While I could have made it work at that size, the eye-holes turned out looking like absolute shit. I won’t lie, I’m kinda disappointed. I was excited about the opportunity to make some “holey ghost” jokes. Instead, my three subs get some generic cheesecake pics and a few clips of me clearing the bong. That should hold them for a couple of weeks.
After I spent an hour or two editing the pics, I managed some spin time. It was ok, but nothing amazing. I didn’t get a lot of engagement, and I wasn’t really in the zone. I tried to practice and drill some things, managing to spin for about 45 minutes, until I took a poi to the eye socket. No major damage; the poi heads are silicone and fairly squishy. I won’t end up with a black eye or anything. The only injury seems to be a rawness around my upper lashes, because I think the poi ripped a few out. I took that as a sign to stop spinning poi and finish scheduling smut posts.
Today will probably be a lot of the same. Shawshank has work, so it’s just me and the kitties. We’ll do stuff, we just don’t know what that stuff might be.
