Good morning, happy humpday, it’s Wednesday, it’s overcast, where’s the coffee?
The cats are already chasing each other. Knickknack is in another room, guarding her litter box. It’s only a matter of time before there’s a kerfuffle and she’s closed up in Mom‘s room. Mal simply sits in one spot and watches the other two, almost like the younger sibling waiting to tattle.
Guess what we’ve done this week? ABSOLUTELY FUCK ALL. No haircut on Monday. Yesterday, Mom wanted to do some work in the yard. Nope, let’s start watching the Stephen King marathon taking up half the DVR, otherwise we can’t pack it full of HGTV. So we watched “Thinner” instead. I worked on my wreath while we watched the movie. It was a trainwreck.
My new routine is going outside with the poi a couple of times a day. I almost always go out after dinner, just as the sun is setting, with the LED poi. If it’s nice out after lunch, I’ll drill new moves and work on smoothing out stuff I already have in my repertoire. My biggest issue, in my opinion, is spinning too quickly. I need to slow down to get the mechanics of a move, then I can work on the finesse of it.
Aaaaaand… then there’s stuff like this.
I used an app that adds some AR to flow props. The app “detects” props based on a color range. I discovered the amusing side effect of what happens when your head is the same color as your poi.
I don’t know what plans we’ll cancel on today. The weather forecast calls for thunderstorms, which means there’s probably no chance to do yesterday’s yardwork.
