The Game That Toes Bought

The Game That Toes Bought

Happy Sunday, y’all. And I do mean “sun”, because we have another day of it. The coffee pot is protesting, but the product is hot and that’s what matters. Chaucer is sitting on Shawshank, and Pippin is in the back doorway. Happy kitties. I woke up too early to have a positive opinion on the morning.

We were productive yesterday. I assumed my human shape early, and we drove out to Slightly BiggerTown to shop. Our first stop was the dollar store. I found a few costume-y things in their Halloween stuff to add to the vault of smutty clothes and props. The next stop was the other discount store for a few more random things. The last two stops were food-related: groceries and lunch. Our drives in both directions were gorgeous. Most of the fields are cleared, and a lot of the trees are starting to change; there’s a lot of yellow out there in the wooded areas now. Unfortunately, the only downside was a lack of cornbread ingredients, which means I don’t have cornbread stuffing for Thanksgiving today.

After lunch, I took over the TV and played Skyrim for the afternoon. We set up the TikTok stream again, joking about making enough money to buy No Man’s Sky. I killed bandits for a couple of hours, wiggling my toes for the benefit of another batch of thirsty guys. By the end of a few hours, between tips and a new subscriber to the spank-bank, we were on the EShop, buying it.

Toes are currency, change my mind.

Shawshank played Tears of The Kingdom for a few minutes, but quickly switched over to No Man’s Sky once it finished downloading. He played for a few hours: long enough to get a feel for it, but not long enough to lose too much progress if he restarts. So far, he’s enjoying it. I’ll give it a shot today.

Our only plan for today is a Thanksgiving dinner at Shady Acres. I’ll put on real clothes and everything. Fortunately, in preparation for leftover turkey sandwiches, we bought a loaf of bread.
