Good morning, y’all. It’s a rainy and gray morning up here North of the Wall. I woke up a little earlier than I’d have liked. The overcast skies can play tricks on me in the morning, however, and it probably wasn’t as early as I thought it was. Chaucer came up and checked us out, patiently waiting for someone to make breakfast for him.
Sorry about my lack of an actual post of substance yesterday. But honestly, nothing I typed would have compared to the video. Additionally, Shawshank told me “you need to close out your 400 tabs and write your post or I’m going to steal your thunder and post about it first”. And, well, we couldn’t have that, could we?
So yeah. I’m a fucking fire goddess- in five minute increments.
It takes a couple of trips to bring everything down into the road. Half of the gear we’re hauling out is safety gear. When I sent my mother a photo of me spinning fire, her reply was “I don’t see a fire extinguisher”. It was there, right next to Shawshank, along with my fire blanket, and a bucket of water. Tiktok doesn’t care, they’ve flagged my last couple of clips with “DO NOT ATTEMPT” warnings.
We’ve had a good couple of days. I’ve made a bunch of pants, like, a shitload of pants. Shawshank and I took some pics in the yard on Monday afternoon. Then, I hung up the sheet and took more photos inside. I was able to set up three more listings in the Chaos Gremlin shop.
Yesterday, I prepped some more fabric. I prepped a couple of things in the morning while the living room floor was clear. Shawshank and I went up to the secondhand shop in the afternoon, where I picked up another three piles of bedding. He’s laid down the law, and I can’t buy anything until I bring down the existing pile a bit. I set up the backdrop again, and took pics of the newest items. If the weather clears up this afternoon, I’ll take outdoor pants pics.
I plan to be productive in all sorts of ways today. Get that bag, as the kids are saying.
