Good morning, world. Happy Friday. Or Fry-day. Or Fri-yay. Or even Fry-yay, which is what I’ll probably be saying tonight when we go out to eat and Freda gives me an obscene amount of French fries.
Get this: I slept. I FUCKING SLEPT. I wore the Bluetooth sleep mask that Shawshank bought me from the very start and put on some tunes. While I woke up at least twice during the night, I focused on the music and went back to sleep again. Right back to sleep. I’m not sure if it’s a feature of my phone or the headset, or if it’s a trick of my sleep-addled brain, but it seems like the music stops after some time, but restarts if I wake up and move. Whatever is happening, I’m not going to complain at all.
I successfully navigated being a human yesterday. I wore clothes. Real clothes, not just a kigu. I spent the morning schmoozing on the seedy side of Twitter and painting some of the Godtear minis. After Shawshank went back to work, I did the dishes and set up a bath. I initially planned to attempt a live stream, but opted to just take pics. Unfortunately, the tub cooled off too quickly, and I didn’t stay in there very long. I took some pics before I completely dried off (multitasking!) and then painted some more.
Pippin, as always, helped. I’ve been working with her to sit on my shoulders, but she’s much happier in my arms. She’s not quite convinced she can sleep in my hood, but that could have been because I was painting and not completely immobile.
In other news, it took a month but I actually made some money on Onlyfans yesterday. Then I made some more this morning. My new Bluetooth butt remote has paid for itself.
Today, I’m going to put on clothes. I have to, because it’s date night. Shawshank and I are going out to dinner. I could wear a kigu out, no one would fault Florida Girl for being cold. I’m trying to make a point to put on clothes and not get into that cycle of behavior. I’ve done some schmoozing this morning, but not all of it. If I’m ambitious, maybe I’ll start working on the bases to the rest of the Godtear minis.
