Happy morning, my darlings. Today is Monday. The sun is shining and I don’t think we can expect to see any rain until tomorrow. In fact, while tomorrow is supposed to suck, today should be a nice day. The rest of the week is supposed to be nice.
Maybe I’ll stop bitching about not going outside and FUCKING GO OUTSIDE.
The terrarium work is already underway. The glass jars are still sweaty inside, so three of them are getting the stocking treatment. Unlike most times I open the jars, I’m not wiping down the walls. This time around, I want some of the plants to dry off.
Things are moist. Active, certainly- the springtails are breeding – but God damn are the jars humid inside.
Something hatched in the carnivorous jar. That’s the risk when you buy plants from a nursery place where everything lives outside. I think it’s a mayfly. Whatever it is, it’s too big for the plants to eat. I put the whole jar outside on the patio for the time being, to let it fly out.
Aside from the lazy plant maintenance, I think we’re going to Walmart. I’m not totally certain. Even though Mom may have said we’re going who knows what will actually happen. With tomorrow’s forecast calling for rain, I want some outdoor time today.
It’s raining here all day, I’m not sure if the front will hit you in the panhandle, but lots of rain in central Arkansas
We’re supposed to get thunderstorms tomorrow. However, after that goes through, the next week is set for some gorgeous spring weather. I might actually finish some paintings!
