Good morning, world. Happy Sunday. Sunshine, coffee, cats, etc, etc. Chaucer found the morning sunbeam. Pippin is sitting on the table beside the backdoor, where it’s all sunbeam.
We had a good day. I got dressed – in real clothes, once again – and did all the fun shit. The roads are finally clear of ice, thanks to the recent burst of above-freezing temps. I have the option to leave town on my own again (bad roads cause panic, so he drives), if I wanted to. I actually left my coat in the car while we were out, because it was comfortable enough to go about without it. With my cute wool sweater, jeans, boots, and toque, Shawshank said I was an adorable little mountain climber. All I needed was a vest and a Starbucks to complete my pumpkin spice basic bitch uniform.
Our shopping trip went by pretty quickly. Shawshank had written up a shopping list, but I don’t remember either of us looking at it a single time we were out. We checked out the discount store while we were near it, then picked up Subway for lunch and headed back home.
Groceries put away and lunch finished, Shawshank handed me a Switch controller and I played BotW for the afternoon. He’s finished all the Divine Beasts. I’ve completed two of the four by this point, but I’m at the point in the remaining quest lines where I don’t have that much to do before the main attraction. I completed one more Beast, then spent the rest of the afternoon collecting korok seeds and two shrines.
Sundays are for chores, and Shawshank is puttering with the laundry. We’re going to Shady Acres for dinner. The rest of the time is ours.
