snow and frost

Good morning, bitches. It’s morning. Again. Is it truly morning if it’s still fucking dark? I don’t know where the line is.

Yesterday was pretty uneventful. I made a fresh batch of waffles for our weekend brunch days. Chaucer assisted for the first couple, standing on his chair and watching the batter explode in the bowl. He eventually left, bored with simply watching and not sharing in the people food.

I played Divinity: Original Sin 2 and streamed from the couch after dinner. Night streams are definitely busier than afternoon streams. I logged off with close to 10k viewers, one new subscriber, and $6 in TikTok diamonds. I’ll try to repeat that tonight, but things aren’t super reliable. It could be busier, being closer to the weekend, or it could be a complete waste of bandwidth.

I made some more progress in the game. I’m gearing up for final battles. As planned, I returned to the big fight I was previously struggling with. I definitely cheesed my way through the fights, trying to pull enemies way out of range so the rest of the baddies couldn’t reach me with their attacks. It was a very tedious strategy: about an hour or so of starting a fight, teleporting people into the right spots, fleeing, and repeating. I handled a couple of little quests, and upgraded some wands. Someone in my chat asked what I was planning to do when I finished. I’ll go back to Skyrim, but honestly, Divinity: Original Sin 2 is so damned fun that I can’t wait to try all this shit again from another character’s point of view.

Shawshank works another closing shift tonight. I’m going to create some content, and leave the couch. C’mon, it’ll be fun, we’ll have some spin time.
