Hey, y’all, it’s Wednesday! We’re up and enjoying coffee. Cats are up and doing cat shit. It’s just another morning. We just yelled at Podrick to stop him from chewing a doorknob.
I logged in and worked for a few hours last night, but it was utterly dead. I had hoped if I logged in early enough, I could recapture some of Monday’s magic. Alas, it was just a fucking slow night. I was ranked decently when I first logged in, but that energy didn’t stick around after the first hour. Aside from one broke boy, none of those chucklefucks wanted to talk, even with me trying to be active and engaging. I planned to stick it out anyway, because I know that the longer I’m on, the better things generally go. Looking at some other creators on Reddit, I wasn’t alone. A bunch of us had slow nights.
I logged out after about 3 hours to take a quick break and feed the cats. Unfortunately, as soon as I stood up, my entire lower body started screaming at me. I imagined all my muscles protesting, holding up signs saying “YOU’RE OLD” and “BACK PAINS” and “STOP SITTING LIKE A GREMLIN”. Instead of logging back in, I put on some comfy clothes and made myself something to eat for dinner.
I played Saints Row: the Third until Shawshank came home from work. I caused chaos and mayhem on the streets of Steelport. Over the weekend, I finished the Trouble With Clones DLC, and also started the last part of Ganstas in Space. My flying skills weren’t up to par, and I eventually gave up out of frustration after trying to maneuver my glider under a bridge. I’ve spent the last week flying around in copters and on brooms, getting a better handle on controls. I gave the mission another try last night. After about 8 attempts, I finally managed to direct the glider under the bridge – and under the right part of the bridge – to finish the mission. I was rewarded with some aircraft and a new homie.
Shawshank has this day off, so we’re enjoying a lazy day. The weather isn’t dumping anything on us, so the only major activity will be Shawshank going out to buy hamburger buns.
