Good morning, world. We’re up and about. We’re not talking about my sleep, because it was not good. I heard a rumble of thunder, which was good.
Podrick’s tail is longer this morning. Another growth spurt has begun. I sent this pic to my mom yesterday, and it might have been the first time she’s seeing him with Pippin. He’s so big, she replied. He’s 3 months old now, and while he’s not quite Pippin’s size, he feels like he’s almost matched her weight. While Pippin is daintily built, Podrick is solid. Not chonky, just solid.
Yesterday was another gorgeous day, and I went outside to take advantage of it again. I enjoyed some good spin time. I’ve been experimenting with TikTok streams outside, not so much for the chatting, but because they are still the easiest way to record long videos and not fill up my own disk space. The downside is really only that something in TikTok has changed – I think that Canada has access to the shop now – and my FYP is full of ads. I may as well be on Instagram; both feeds are roughly 30% ads.
Earlier this week, I tried it without music, listening to my playlist in earbuds, because sometimes music and motion can wreak havoc on my stream’s speed. The silent streams seemed to go ok, without a lot of lag if I’m on the patio. With that in mind, I brought my speaker out with me yesterday and gave that a go. From a quick peek at the clip, things weren’t too laggy at all. I might make a regular thing of it again.
Shawshank has today off, and there’s laundry in the washer already. Today’s forecast is supposed to be warm and cloudy-ish, with the humidity making it feel hotter. I’m sure we’re not doing anything today.
