Good morning, world. I let Shawshank sleep in. I woke up some time around 6am, and quietly scrolled through my socials. I knew if I got out of the bed, he’d notice and wake up.
I spent yesterday morning streaming until Shawshank came home. It was a good time; a regular “whale” was in chat and dropped about $10 on me. Another regular told a freeloader begging for my attention “Dude, just subscribe, it’s soooooo worth it.”
Shawshank came home in the afternoon and napped. I took some time to section out my hair before installing the new locs. This particular batch is much more uniform in size than the glow batch, less turned out feeling like Cheesy Poofs.
They also seem glossier, but I think that’s mostly a trick of the light. This batch is a darker mix of colors, which I think makes the shine more obvious. And after all of the worry that I wouldn’t have enough locs, I finished the installation with one extra loc. I tried to be a little less aggressive about the sections around my nape, which will make things a bit more comfortable for me in the long run. Unfortunately, I overzealously grabbed my baby hairs and now I’m going to suffer for a couple of days while they loosen up a little.
Today starts Shawshank‘s a few night shifts. I’m going to assume a human form and enjoy the rest of the morning together.
