Good morning, Friday. The sun is shining on the back patio, but there are clouds in the front yard. Yesterday, TinyTown enjoyed the same temps as my mother in Pensacola. We also had a few popup thunderstorms. We stood on the steps, smoking and listening to the rain move in, hearing the rain hit the ground as it rolled into town. Sometimes, it’s almost like Florida.
I did not make any new pants yesterday. Three times now, I’ve found sheets with matching pillowcases. I had no plans or patterns, but I improvised a shirt to match the Batpants. It’s….. something.
In the immortal words of Macklemore, “but hey, it was 99 cents”. It’s not exactly what I had in mind, and wearing both pieces at once is absolute chaos to the eyes. But, it is my brand of perfectly ridiculous. Plus, the pants are just fucking cool.
Breezy, even.
It looks nice outside, but it’s raining in the capitol and I don’t know what the rest of the day has in store. Shawshank is taking me out for a date tonight. Pippin is screaming at a doorknob. Let the day begin.
