More Wreaths, More Paper, More Sun

Happy morning, bitches. It’s Sunday. Today marks my mother’s 68th trip around the sun. Also, it’s sunny.

I very nearly finished the wreath I’ve been working on. Early in the afternoon, I realized the paper I’d prepped wasn’t going to be enough, and prepped more. Unfortunately, it wasn’t quite enough. I need about eight more roses to finish the wreath.

The wind has finally died down enough for mom to get some use out of my birthday gift to her: a new patio umbrella. She’s pretty excited. It actually came in last Monday. However, the winds have been strong this week, and they don’t like opening the umbrella when there’s anything more than a breeze.

I ordered a Switch from Walmart for pickup this morning, and they cancelled it. Their fraud system cancelled it, I’m assuming because it was ordered in Florida and being picked up with a Rhode Island license. That pisses me off, but it is what it is.

I tried Best Buy instead. I’m just waiting for the notice that says I can pick it up. It’s farther away, but I can drive. If anything, the trip will get me out of the house for an hour.
