Greetings, y’all who woke this Wednesday. We’re looking at another cold morning, but – BUT – it looks like shit’s warming up a bit as this week moves into next. I let Shawshank really sleep in this morning.
I made yesterday’s afternoon productive. After Shawshank left for work, I sat down with my laptop and phone. I set the phone up to upload the most recent photos, and scheduled a couple of weeks’ worth of content to drop. Since the most recent updates to Fansly, photos aren’t pushed to the FYP feeds any longer. I’ve discovered an expected benefit to this: time. I still schedule content drops for multiple times daily, but I no longer need to worry about
- making and censoring preview pics for the FYP
- choosing appropriate hashtags for each pic
If my pics are not being pushed out to the FYP, I’m not posting previews anymore. Before, I had to clone the pics, then censor things with emojis or blurs. Similarly, if I’m not pushing specific content to the FYP, there’s no reason to add hashtags to a post. Neither of these things takes a lot of time, maybe an extra minute or two, at the most. That bit of time saved, multiplied over 50 posts, really adds up.
So right now, my current post schedule is to drop 2-3 pieces of content daily, with one of those things being a video of some sort. The video is the only post where I worry about hashtags, everything else has only a caption. I’m slowly building up a folder of ridiculous promo clips I’ve made in Capcut, most of which I didn’t need to censor. To avoid cluttering up my feed with an endless rotation of promotional ass-jiggling videos, I’m setting them to expire after a month. We’ll see how this works.
