Good morning, I see we’re back for another week. Yay. The skies over TinyTown are bright, but cloudy. They don’t look stormy – yay – just cold.
We spent a pretty relaxing day at home yesterday. Shawshank made brunch for us while I got ready for the day. He asked his mother when she wanted to make the trip into town. As it turned out, her mental calendar was screwed up. She had her days wrong, no need to go over before dinnertime.
Since we didn’t need to leave the house, Shawshank left the Dateline reruns playing for a little while while we ate bacon and eggs. Later, he switched to some Tabletop Tactics and sent me to the kitchen table to work on his minis.
I finished up some of the final touches on the majority of the grass bases. Most of them just needed a bit of paint before gluing the minis on them. The larger bases are much more fun for me, because I can put a little more on them. I believe I’ve left enough space for Shawshank to paint the actual figures, since there’s not too many odd nooks that can’t be reached. I don’t have too much to do on them. Obviously, I’m having a lot of fun with that penitent engine and its “oops, I’ve really stepped in it this time” moment. Was she already on the ground? Or was she collateral damage?
Today is a human day. Once I post, I’ll get dressed and put on makeup. Shawshank‘s mom should let us know when/if the part has arrived, and we’ll all head into town.
Having never messed with warhammer stuff directly, these minis you’re painting up are not only great looking, but fascinating to learn about what they are, why they are, and how they came into being. No pun intended, but holy smokes!!!
thanks for sharing all the cool paintings!
I’m the first to admit I know absolutely nothing about the game’s lore, but I know it’s massive and incredibly in-depth. I just like painting tiny badasses!
