marginal risk of severe weather

Greetings and salutations, friends. I crashed hard last night, and slept on top of the covers again. Shawshank asked if I fell asleep with the computer in my lap again. I felt the crash coming before it hit and had already gotten the bed ready. All I had to do was put my tech away and go to bed. While I didn’t actually get into the bed, at least I put the tech into its places.

I woke up very early in the morning and crawled under the weighted blanket. Judging by the fact Chaucer wasn’t on the bed with me and the sun wasn’t up, I figured it was probably around 4am.

Yesterday may have been nice weather but it was violently hot. There was no possible way we wanted to do anything out there. Instead, I brought paints out into the living room and set up shop inside, where the heat didn’t bake me. Mom loaded up Netflix to put on Stranger Things. We watched a couple of episodes while I painted on the floor.

It was a variety pack of paintings. The lighthouse is on 9″ x 11″ paper, and the government buildings are about 2″ x 2″ each. The pepper is right in the middle, on 5″ x 7″. Since the pepper is almost done, I’ll probably put it up in the shop(s) this weekend.

Brian came home, showered, and we went out to the Chinese buffet. It was crowded, but it’s a big tourist weekend here, so not unheard of. I sat on the wrong side of the booth and had to watch the rage TV while I gorged myself on sushi. I wrapped two of the mystery cookies from the buffet and brought them home for a midnight snack.

Terrible heat aside, the evening was nice. It was hot, but more tolerable than when the sun is actually up. I went out and had myself some spin time.

I’m going to eat the most bombass peanut butter ball in about a half hour and I’ll start editing clips later.
