Happy Tuesday, world. I’m up. Podrick came in for a visit under the quilt around 4am, and left when Shawshank got up an hour or so later. He scammed me into giving him a second breakfast.
I was productive yesterday. Shawshank made the bed up nice, and left for work with the advice, “go shoot some content, and if you can’t, try to nap”. I shot some content, edited a few clips, and then spent the rest of the afternoon waiting for 2 gigs of media to upload at a snail’s pace. While that was uploading, I scrolled through Reddit and watched people have meltdowns about the FYP yet again. Yesterday, someone was whining because some creators choose to post explicit promo on the FYP, and she and her friends don’t. She’s blaming other people’s content for why no one engages with theirs, because it’s obviously Fansly’s fault for allowing porn on a porn site.
For what its worth, Fansly did make a recent change to their site, but not in the way that people normally complain about. No, this time they added a check to the search function, and now it stops users from searching for any weed-related content. Half of my most productive tags now come up “invalid tag” when searched for. We can smoke it, but apparently we just can’t advertise it as such. I say “apparently”, because no one on Fansly staff will answer the questions asked about it. I’m making assumptions based on the fact they do the same to #ABDL and period-adjacent content: it can be in the content, but you can’t make it the focus of the content. I’d flirted with using #smoking in the past, but it seemed to be more focused on tobacco/cigarettes, but it looks like they’ll be getting some company.
TikTok restored my streaming access yesterday afternoon. I enjoyed an evening of Skyrim, and chatted with the normal crew. Later, I went outside for a little bit of evening spin time.
Shawshank‘s working the mid-shift today, so we’ll be able to have dinner together. I’ll have to find something for us to eat.
