Happy Sunday. We’re awake, and Chaucer has already claimed Shawshank‘s lap. Pippin is in the doorway, as usual.
We left the house yesterday. Shawshank walked to Shady Acres to borrow a truck, as the Hot Mess added an oil change to the list of broken things. We drove out to Slightly BiggerTown and did the shopping scavenger hunt. The first stop was the plaza: groceries in the grocery store, a trip through the discount store, some makeup in the pharmacy. The dispo was our next stop. We picked up lunch to go and were back on the open road and heading home within about an hour.
I spent a couple of hours in the afternoon playing “Monster Hunter: Rise“. Various releases of Monster Hunter games have made it to my Deku Deals wishlist over the years, but I’ve largely ignored the series. I add the games to my list, eventually decide I’m not that interested and remove them. Recently, however, someone made a post on Reddit asking for game suggestions for their wife. She really likes fantasy games from a third person perspective, with good character customization, maybe pets. The first comment said this game not only lets you have a pet cat, but also a dog you can ride. And they both help me fight? SIGN ME THE FUCK UP.
Today is a lazy day.
