Hello, world. It’s another morning. The sun is out, the skies are clear. We’re expecting another day above freezing, although the wind will keep things chilly. Shawshank opened up the back door and put the cats’ chairs by the window. Pippin is soaking up the sunshine. I’ll add extra layers if it keeps her from screaming at closet doors all afternoon.

I decided to put the robot overlords to work yesterday, analyzing hashtag performance on my Fansly posts. I whipped up a quick and dirty dataset of my top 10 pieces of media for the last week, including overall views and engagement average, as well as engagement per hashtag. After a bit of thinking, it spat out a lot of decent info about which tags resulted in better engagement. Amazing, but I wanted more.

I expanded, and dumped a dataset for the top 10 over the last 30 days. The robot liked that even more, and gave me a more in-depth drill down of what was going on, which tags to keep, and which to dump. When it suggested I drop one that I’ve only just started using, I asked if the fact the tag has only been in use for 7 of the last 30 days made a difference in its suggestions. Apparently it did, because it rewrote its analysis of that tag and made new suggestions. I’m working on getting it to make me a system to do this with less work. It’s been a fight.

Shawshank has today off, so we’ll be figuring out dinner and enjoying the day. I’m going to make the robot work for me some more.
