This morning is dark and stormy. The clouds are keeping things dark enough to allow me to sleep in. Even more helpful was sleeping through the night and never turning off my Bluetooth headphones, which of course fell off my head. I didn’t hear a peep from the alarm this morning.
What I am hearing is a LOT of thunder. At times, the thunder ceases to be single rumbles and becomes one long roll.
I brought out the watercolors in the afternoon. I finished the ship, and worked on a grapefruit. Those are the two I’m happy with. I also worked on the two paintings of Providence that are in progress as well, but I’m not happy with how they’re turning out. I’ll probably trash them.
Today, we’re going out to buy some food. Mom invited everyone over here for dinner tomorrow, and we need to buy some ingredients. She plans to make a sauce today, and we’ll have spaghetti tonight. I might buy some meatballs and make myself a bowl of balls.
Tomorrow, there’s a lasagna in my future.
