Good morning, world. As usual, it’s a sunny morning. And as usual, they tell us it’ll rain later. It didn’t yesterday. Maybe it will today, maybe it won’t.
We didn’t do anything yesterday. Mom wanted to mail a package to my nephews, so I left the house for some fresh air. Since it was beautiful, I managed to spin for a while and work on my continuing quest to smooth shit out.
Mom forgot to take something out to defrost, so we went to the Chinese buffet for dinner. I usually fill a plate with sushi, then go back for a little bit of the fried shit after that. Sometimes, I grab a little bowl of ice cream. And that’s exactly what I did last night. JESUS TRUCK in the parking lot was simply an added bonus.
The rest of the day was the usual cycle of poi, HGTV, and the Switch. It was boring, and I’m ok with that. Now that I’m starting to understand more of the game mechanics, I’m really, really enjoying “Black Flag“. At some point, I caught myself doing a happy little shimmy in my seat and explained to Mom, “I just stole a pirate ship”.
Today, I can expect more of the same. Mom’s put a load of clothes in the wash already. She wants to take advantage of the heat while the weather is clear. They’ll be dry be the time we leave for dinner with Brian’s parents.
