HOT DAMN WHAT A DEAL.
Good morning, Monday. The sun is up, and it’s looking nice so far today. Podrick came under the quilts and we snuggled for a while. Eventually, I fell asleep again, and that’s how I stayed until Pod woke me up waaaay after his breakfast time.
It was a lazy Sunday, and even Shawshank spent most of the morning on the couch. We watched wrestling while we ate brunch. I updated the numbers on a bunch of content and left a few snarky comments on Reddit posts. There’s always something to snark about. I’ve barely been out of bed for an hour and I’ve already explained to a new creator that yes, “just feet pics” does indeed qualify one a sex worker.
The creators are still frothing. I feel like that’s completely understandable when creator support is telling people one thing via email that directly conflicts with what the staff that deals with Reddit is saying.
My favorite post of the day was someone who admitted they broke the TOS by uploading content with a person who “ultimately couldn’t be verified”, got his account shut down and lost whatever funds he hadn’t already transferred out. Straight up says, “I understand I can’t upload content of other people without consent, but…..” As usual in cases like this, he’s special, and somehow thinks the TOS doesn’t apply to him. After all, the funds he earned from that weren’t a large percentage of his overall earnings. At the very least, he should’ve maybe gotten a warning slap on the wrist.
Pro tip: the TOS is the warning, my man.
