Hey, look, it’s a title.

Yesterday’s holiday has completely borked my mental calendar for the week. Brian had the day off, and I can’t deal. Monday may as well have been Sunday 2.0. I’m already having trouble convincing my brain that tomorrow is Shawshank‘s birthday, not today.

It’s fucking Tuesday. Deal with it.

We had all the sunshine and none of the bullshit yesterday. Mom had a birthday coupon, and convinced Brian to take us out after lunch. The first stop was to Lowe’s for garden supplies. Her coupon was for Ace, where she bought a new bird feeder to replace one that was broken in last week’s storms. I rescued a tiny toad from the middle of the yard and moved him into the garden where it would be safer for him. I helped Mom fill the new chicken planter, then played Skyrim for the rest of the day.

I tried to go outside and spin poi for a bit. The toads weren’t too bad, but the mosquitoes were annoying, and the humidity was pretty shitty as well. I also stepped wrong, and wrenched my ankle. It’s not painful now, and wasn’t painful at all when I did it. However, it was also that sort of thing I felt could have been really bad if I stepped even slightly wrong. Sometimes, you just know.

That’s a lie, actually, I have lots of plans. I’d like to go outside and paint, but I don’t have any sketches prepped. The only paintings I’m working on currently are the Marshall Point Lighthouse commission and the Südwestkirchhof Stahnsdorf. Both are nearly done.

However, I came up with an idea for a project over the weekend. It’s something that I think would be an interesting way to use some skills from miniature painting. I’m really keen on the idea of making a video series of how I do it. Unfortunately, I’m at that point where I have grand ideas of what it could be, but I don’t have any starting point.

The beginning is the part that always trips me up.

Today’s weather should be similar to yesterday’s. Mom has a load of sheets and towels in the wash. I don’t have any plans. Mom has PT in the afternoon, but I haven’t decided if I want to go or not.
