Hello, bitches. Welcome to the newest week to drop on Planet Earth. It’s gonna be amazing.
We enjoyed yet another day of much slothness. Shawshank played some Breath of The Wild in the morning while the laundry ran. I did my morning routine and human things until around lunchtime. Shawshank had been playing all morning by that point, and it was my turn. Controller in hand, I loaded up the game and puttered about for a few minutes while he cooked lunch for us.
Once we settled in with food, he found another Divine Beast walkthrough. This video was much better – the creator knew exactly WTF he was doing, as well as where he was going. I had already reached three of the five objectives needed to start the boss, and could see how to get to the remaining two, but I just couldn’t reach them. The video unlocked the one little bit of the puzzle I needed to reach the objectives. By the time we’d finished lunch, and a little bit of prep, I was ready to go. I got in, figured out where I had been going wrong, and the rest of the run was golden.
The boss was a bit of a hairy battle. Shawshank watched most of it, but left the room for some of the final stage of the fight because he gets too nervous and feels like he’ll make me nervous.
We went to Shady Acres for Easter dinner. His mom made me homemade sweet potato fries in the air fryer because she knew I wouldn’t like her scalloped potatoes, which are baked with onions. We stayed long enough to chat over pumpkin pie for dessert, then came back home. After digging through the junk drawer for more batteries, Shawshank hooked us up with some fresh clippers and shaved our heads.
Today is our ultimate sloth day. We have some news on the TV at the moment, but we’ll probably end up gaming. I might be at a point where I’m a bit stir crazy and need to be a human that does things, so I’m going to assume a human form this morning just in case the spirit moves me.
