Another Sunday. This morning is gray, but it doesn’t look like rain. Neither cat was in the bed when I woke up.
We had a good Saturday. We were in the truck and on the road just in time to see some of the eclipse. Shawshank pulled over so we could take some pics. As usual, his phone took much better pics than mine.
Other than the freakymagic solar phenomena, the trip to Slightly BiggerTown was uneventful. Pharmacy, discount store, grocery store, dispo: we made the rounds in record time. We even stuck to the list. We grabbed sandwiches on our way out of town, then headed back home to eat.
The rest of the afternoon was devoted to gaming. Shawshank took the first round on the Switch, and played No Man’s Sky. I did my nails, because I’ve gotta keep the masses happy. I streamed and played more Skyrim. Things were pretty slow compared to the rest of the week, I feel like a lot less “foot traffic” (no pun intended) comes through. That seems to be the case on the weekends regardless of what I stream. No matter, I made about $8 between tips and subs.
We’ll putter around the Flat today, then spend half the afternoon over at Shady Acres for dinner.
