Yo, it’s Tuesday. Let’s kick it. Pensacola’s got sunshine and heat, as is the local custom. The first load of laundry is in the washer. Typical June morning.

I feel like my chair is precariously balanced on its rocker springs today. It’s rather fun, actually.

Mom and I finished watching Prime’s Outer Range yesterday. I feel like I need to watch it again. I figured out one twist, but reading some of the Reddit discussion about the finale pointed out how many clues I probably missed. It’s not as mindfucky as Dark, but it’s a solidly fucky bit of entertainment.

After the TV time, I played Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen some more.

I’m enjoying Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen for all the same reasons I love Skyrim. I can run around and there’s a lot to explore, which is generally my biggest want in a game. I’m not stuck playing one role if I don’t want to be. This is great, because the beginning of Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen is long, and I have no idea if I could skip it if I ever want to replay. Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen‘s pawn system is fucking great. I love having two party members at all times, especially ones who will gather shit for me.

Mom has a PT appointment today. I think I might drop her off at the office, then go to the post office. I have a care package to send to Shawshank, and I need to talk to the girl who commissioned my recent lighthouse painting to get paid and send that out.

Night Sky is next on the list. She really enjoyed Sweet Tooth on Netflix last spring, but sadly I couldn’t get her into Dark or Counterpart.

I think my best bet is to limit things to 8-episodes at a time, and it has to catch her attention right away. I might try to get her into Stranger Things again. She doesn’t like horror as much anymore, but it might be just enough nostalgia to suck her in.
