Good morning, world. We’re awake and doing morning things here. Shit’s annoying. Podrick has figured out how to reach all of Pippin‘s “safe spaces” – the kitchen table, the bathroom shelves, and the fridge. He’s tired of kitten chow and wants to eat the big cat food. If he can reach the bowl, he’ll eat all of it. We’re constantly moving Pippin’s bowl in an effort to keep some available to her.
The cable that connects the Switch to the Genki plug (🎵the Switch is connected to the Genki, the Genki’s connected to the TV, now hear the word of the lawd🎶) has been on the fritz for a little while now. Every now and then, the sound would cut out when we’d change the input from Roku to the Switch, which was easily fixed by turning the TV off and on again. Alas, its condition has been worsening over the last few weeks. First, the sound cut out for about 45 minutes while I was playing NieR:Automata for the first time. It’s done it several times since, for various lengths of time.
Yesterday, I set up everything to stream, swapped from HDMI2 to HDMI1 and there was no response. Since I had everything set up, I streamed anyway. The Foot Clan was happy to have my nearly undivided attention.
Not sure what today holds. Shawshank is working the closing shift again. I’m going to post some content, and try to make some money to contribute to the household.
