cold wind to freeze Brock lesnar’s breast implants

Good morning, world. You up? We up. Podrick was an asshole this morning. He started off un-assaholic, curling up for big snuggles and cuddles against me. Once his cuddle-drive was satisfied, he was off to cause problems, namely eating cords to my things. Rather than continuing to fight – every time I have to move him, I’m crawling out from under the weighted blanket – I gave up and got out of bed.

Last night was the first stream with the new cable. Our upload speed is capped, so the new stream isn’t really any faster, only smoother. On the other hand, the line on my bitrate graph doesn’t look like a heart monitor anymore. Unfortunately, even with my smoother stream, my Thursday still sucked. I stuck it out for about five hours.

When I logged out, I messed with some of my gear. Taking the claw from the new phone holder, the legs of my tripod, and another part from my ring light, I combined them into the Voltron of tripods. The neck makes it taller, so I don’t need to put the base on tippytoes to give it height. The claw is far more secure than the default clip– no more worrying about gravity pulling it out of the clip when I angle it downward.

I really want more flexibility in my positioning. Not, like, contortionist flexibility, I want to be able to sit, lean, lay down, stand, etc. Most of my trouble in this regard is because 20% of the bed is taken up by my ring light and the footstool that elevates the tripod. Standing is out of the question, there is just far too much bed in the bedroom.

I’m sure I can expect more of the same tonight. The new tripod means I’m going to have to mess with positioning again, but I want to try and put some of the gear off the bed today. Give me some space.
