Greetings and salutations, gentle readers. It’s Sunday, and the sun is making the morning sky all pink and pale yellow. I’m sure Shawshank has a picture of it on his page. We were allowed to sleep this morning. Podrick woke us up, Shawshank locked him out, and we went back to sleep for an hour.
We had a nice Saturday at home. Shawshank made us brunch did the laundry and I spent the afternoon playing “Factorio“. So far, I’m having fun with it. I’m running it in peaceful mode so I don’t have to deal with biters. After 4 days of running back and forth across my current area to keep my “power plant” running, I managed to fix the grabbyhands and conveyor belts so they worked together to fill the boiler. I have a bunch of factories set up making components and upgrade packs. They work well enough; there’re issues with some materials causing bottlenecks on the belts, but I’m not bothered too much about it. By the time I turned the game off for dinner, I’d run enough conveyor belts and set it up so the materials packs were sent to my research lab, which was across the map next to the boiler.
We watched wrestling after dinner. It wasn’t too bad, we were entertained.
There’s shit going on in town today that’s going to bring the power down for a couple of hours. We’re using that time to drive out to Slightly BiggerTown for groceries.
