I managed to have a fabulous run on “Balatro” last night, winning on the ghost deck. I had a pretty shitty start, with two jokers that would only really pay off in the last few hands. At one point, I sold off one joker to give space for another, changed my mind, and won a couple of rounds by the seat of my pants.

When I wasn’t neck-deep in virtual gambling, I was fucking with the WP plugin. The plugin proves it: my stats suck. It’s a never-ending battle to keep the performance lists accurate without pushing it to be gentle with my feelings.
Yesterday, things were tweaked so the best/worst hashtag lists wouldn’t be populated with extreme outliers. While it makes me feel great to see the list with insane engagement time, it’s not useful when it’s a weird fluke. For comparison, check out what it looks like when it’s not displaying the weird anomalies.
Hidden deep in the code for a C grade, as a tribute to my parents, I added their least-favorite report card comment: is not working to the best of its ability.
I haven’t done anything with the output for the best/worst performing posts. I don’t know exactly what makes a clip pop off in Fansly’s algorithm. I’d love to know why some things work and some don’t. I made two posts that use the same tags and media. One has about 60 views, and the other has 579. IT’S LITERALLY THE SAME MEDIA.
Shawshank has today off. We’re going to have brunch.
