Happy New Year, y’all 馃帄
We’re officially the age where we didn’t bother staying up to ring in the new year. We were in bed around 11pm and asleep well before the clock struck midnight.
Yesterday, we relaxed. I spent the first part of the day editing most of the photos from Monday’s photoshoot. Shawshank set me up with a controller, and I played a bit of “Persona 5“. I made another attempt at my fight, changing up my buffs a bit. Once again, I failed- but it was really close.
Given the option to restart the battle or leave the dungeon and lose a bunch of progress, I decided to give it one more shot before backtracking too much. Despite a potentially stupid mistake when I started the fight, I managed to pull a win directly out of my ass. After that, it was another 45 minutes of cut scenes and info dumping. I saved my game and handed the controller off to Shawshank to walk him through the fight then watch him go through the same stuff I’d just watched.
We don’t have plans for today. Shawshank has the day off, and he’s going to make chicken wings.
