Happy Saturday. I woke up to an empty bed, confused as to whether Shawshank was still home this morning. He was, so I laid quietly under the covers, trying to snooze. I eventually picked up the sound of him moving about before he kissed me goodbye and left for work.

He had yesterday off, so neither of us left the couch for most of the day. He briefly left to check the mail. I assumed a human form because we planned to go out for dinner. Aside from putting on my face, I used the afternoon and evening to sort through some of my locs while Shawshank watched TV. If I needed to hazard a guess, I’d say about half of them were in great shape and ready to put in. The other half were from the first full set I made (the glow-worms), which weren’t as well-made as my most recent set. I tightened them up, then added an invisible wrap, and they should be good to go.

Shawshank is only doing the morning shift today, but working a full shift tomorrow. Tonight, we’re going to have breakfast for dinner instead of doing brunch tomorrow. At some point, I’ll decide to install new hair.
