Good morning, interweblings. I have coffee. I’ve been up in some form or another since pre-5am. I’ve been using the headphones/mask rig for about a week regularly now, with mixed results. Mostly positive results. I skipped the regular playlist last night, and opted instead to listen to Pink Floyd’s The Wall. Thankfully, I didn’t put it on repeat, because that can be a bit…. much. I woke up without any music playing, switched the playlist, and tried to go back to sleep. I think I succeeded to some degree, it just wasn’t amazing. Eventually, I was too warm and had to get out of bed. I turned the coffee on and waited 15 minutes for Shawshank to get up.
We had some wifi issues here yesterday. Things hiccuped just before Shawshank left for work, and continued to hiccup, even after he rebooted the router. He checked the Switch to make sure Hollow Knight had finished downloading before he took off for work. I mostly surfed Reddit, Twitter, and Discord until around lunchtime, when Shawshank called the company and they fixed things. Yay!
I started Hollow Knight after lunch. I love the graphic style and the music. Unfortunately, I’m not very good at platformers, and at the moment I’m pretty shit at the game. Shawshank started a new game while last night’s dinner cooked. He’s much better at it than I am.
Before he left the house in the morning, Shawshank filled all the pipes. “Take your pick!” he told me.
I’m sad to admit that I only finished the Gandalf and about half of the “widowmaker”. Well, I didn’t touch the wiener at all (that was his Christmas present from the cats). “I need you to finish all of it by the time I come home tomorrow night,” he told me. “I need you to be completely baked so when I walk in the door you’re ready to go out for dinner.” He’s already set up today’s bake off challenge: he’s filled all three again, and if I finish one and send him a pic of the empty bowl, I don’t need to smoke it tomorrow.
Aside from the smoking challenge, I’ll do the usual. Dress, dance, makeup, undress, take some pics, maybe play some games. Assume all the commas in that sentence are smoke breaks.
