Good morning, world. Yes, it’s Friday. Go on, celebrate. Do a little dance. I’ve been quasi-awake since the wee hours of the dawn, unfortunately. Even though we prepared for warmth, I overheated and had a slightly miserable morning.
With any luck, I’ll have enough locs finished today to install them next week. I finished matting up a few more of the pink ones, I understand I need to trust the process, but right now, the process is screaming “THIS IS FAKE CRAB MEAT”.
Thankfully, they look a little better when I seal them, as the spiral effect takes away most of the crabness. All I can think of is a sushi-themed set. I’m going to spend today working on the last of the white locs today. I don’t think I need that much. If I absolutely needed to, I could use some of the white ones I have in my hair. I’d prefer not to. Now that I know how nice I can get them with the iron, I don’t want to use those cut rate first attempts.
We’re going to the old folks’ home today for their summer BBQ lunch. Shawshank is scheduled for a closing shift. I’m going to put on something cute so I don’t scare the town elders.
