Good morning, good people of the Internet. I’m awake with a cup of coffee and a strong desire to hide in my room all day. We’ve got a little rain in the forecast for the day, just scattered, isolated thunderstorms. Nothing out of the ordinary.
I whacked weeds yesterday. The last 10′ or so of Mom‘s backyard is almost entirely blackberry brambles and briars. I managed to get about half of it before the machine’s line stopped self-feeding properly.
Then I ate lunch and took a nap.
I excitedly saved a job listing yesterday evening. It was for a position as a receptionist at veterinarian’s office near the house. Looks great, right? This morning, I made it through 80% of the application process before realizing the job title “veterinary receptionist/assistant” should have been more accurately posted as “receptionist/veterinary assistant”. I feel like what the listing described versus what the application process was didn’t match. I’ll be incredibly shocked if they call.
I laid off Baldur’s Gate 2 this week. I’m not giving up on it. I needed a bit of my videogame comfort food and went back to Skyrim. In an effort to once more delay the game’s completion, I created a new character. In terms of race, my toons are always human or khajiit. I almost always run a stealth archer of some type. Sometimes I like to just beat the snot out of things.
This time around, I’m going way out of my comfort zone and made an Argonian mage.
The lizard wizard.
I haven’t decided if I’m going to be a fully magic face-melting lizard wizard, or try some stealthy mage/assassin. At the moment, I’m level 4 and can’t do shit. I’m trying to stick to the magic. Reality is, right now she’s just a stealth archer with extra steps and thinner armor.
Today, Walmart. Shawshank asked if I was ready for it. My weekly trips to Walmart are my time to leave them in the grocery section and go to the craft or cosmetics departments, or check out the kids’ clothes. I have to lay off the headphones a little, everything seems to be absolutely pissing off my daith piercing lately.
Time to put on clothes. Have a good Saturday, my friends.
