Hello, world. Happy weekend. We’re up and on the couch. The cats have been good little furbabies all morning. Aside from a couple of quick little yowls, Chaucer was quiet when he wasn’t in bed. For a while, I had both cats sleeping on me. It almost made up for waking up way too early.
As planned, we made the drive out to Slightly BiggerTown for groceries. It wasn’t a bad drive. The roads were mostly cleared, and while it wasn’t a sunny day, it wasn’t snowing, either. We saw some grouse, and a bunch of assorted corvids eating some roadkill. We made all the traditional stops, joking with the guys in the dispo, getting lunch, etc.
Once we were safely back in town, I put groceries away and Shawshank dropped the truck off at Shady Acres. We ate lunch while watching Youtube, then Shawshank grabbed the controller to play “Persona 5“. I grabbed a blanket and Chaucer and curled up for a nap. Since we had a bigger/later lunch, we skipped dinner and just watched some TV. I retreated to the tub for an hour while Shawshank watched some “Modern Marvels“.
He’s working tonight. I don’t want to nap, and maybe I can sleep until at least 5. I plan to fuck around on live streams later, but haven’t decided whether or not I want to be normal or skanky.
