Another sunrise

Good morning, world. The whole family is on the couch, the four of us squished into two of the three cushions. Chaucer is purring, but he’s also giving me that bombastic side-eye. He wants my couch-hole.

I didn’t do anything at all yesterday. We watched the news programs, and I left them on for a little while after Shawshank left for work. Once the programs started repeating themselves, I switched it off and played Divinity: Original Sin 2. I’m still in the early-ish areas- not quite the starter area, things are getting a little easier, but every battle is still a coin-toss away from a total wipe.

I was considering a live stream after dinner, but made the mistake of putting the news back on and looking at my social media while I ate. At that point, I gave up on humanity as a whole for the evening. I couldn’t deal with people-ing. While I can filter words in chat, there’s always people who will find a way around it, especially if they know there’s a filter. I don’t need that bullshit in my stream, so I continued my questing through the Hollow Marshes of Divinity. This time around, I’m making sure I finish all the quests before I escape the island, since I know I can’t go back.

I’m going to try to stream today. I need to get dressed first, or at least make a token effort towards assuming a human form.
